What is WAP?

WAP stands for the Wireless Application Protocol and is an application environment and set of protocols which enable mobile devices such as Mobile Phones to access the Internet.

What Equipment do I need?

A Mobile Phone which can connect to WAP. Check your manual to see if your phone is compatible with WAP.

How Do I Connect?

The following examples use the Nokia 3510i. Other makes and models may differ.

Select the WAP services and then select "Go To Address".

Type in the following address http://www.newfacesnetwork.com/struts/wml/lp.wml 

After connection you should be taken to the login page.

What Login details do I need?

To login to your account you need your Membership ID and your Password.

How Do I Check My Messages, Search and Send Messages?

Once you have entered your ID and Password and the Query has been submitted you will be redirected to your WAP Profile.

If you have any New Messages a link will appear together with links to perform a search and view your profile.

The search page will contain a list of criteria for your search. 
Once this query is submitted the results will appear as a series of links.

Clicking on 1 of these links will produce the details of each member. To send a message select the list of options for that member and click send message.

This will forward you to the Send Message page where you can type in your message.

How do I view and apply for Jobs?

Once you have logged in as described above select the option "View Latest Jobs".

This will list the latest jobs. To apply for a particular job select the job, press select and then select Apply.

How can I View Pictures?

If the member has a picture this will appear in the options list. 

Once you select View Picture the picture of this member will be sent to your phone number as stored on our system via MMS.

You must have sufficient credits on your account for this facility.
